I've used this Tree stamp from Rubber Stampede before when making sympathy cards and it's turning out to be a favorite. This time I stamped it first in the center then on either side. I used Memento Desert Sand and Rich Cocoa for a little bit of a change. I rubbed a tear drop pad in the lighter color first over the whole image then took the Rich Cocoa tear drop pad and colored in areas.
I stamped the image onto the card base then added a layer of vellum onto which I stamped the sentiment from Stampendous. I tore the bottom edge of the vellum just because I liked the look. I'm kind of crazy that way. I do it to make up for my friend Sandy who can NOT put up with the idea of tearing.
