A dear friend is turning 98 today and of course I had to make a very special card for her. I used Concord & 9th's Happy Day stamp set Oh my word this is a gorgeous stamp set. It looks complicated but it is so easy to color. Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by.

MFT's release a month or so ago had two new Pure Innocence designs Happy Birthday To You and Happy Cake Day. I only used one to make a card but I did stamp and die cut several of each design for the future. I also used MFT's Birthday Blow Out for my background. I did add stripes to her dress with a white gel pen and Wink Of Stella to the ribbon. Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by.

This is truly darling stamp set from MFT. Magical Unicorns is a colorists dream. Now I'm not a colorist (I'm a bit better than with crayons) but I really had fun making this card and who doesn't want to play with Unicorns. Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by.

It has been way too long since I've posted anything but life got in the way. However I have a back log of cards to post and these cards are what got me in the groove again. I have watched many card artists/designers doing galaxy backgrounds and they just fascinated/intimidated me to no end. I finally got my nerve up and made the attempt. I used Amy R's video on Prairie Paper & Ink, Galaxy Background as my guide but there are others on You Tube (look for Jennifer McGuire or Kristina Werner both great designers and instructors). I struggled and as Amy says keep working because for a long time it looks like a hot mess. The top two photos are the galaxy backgrounds and the bottom two are the cards I made, I had fun making the backgrounds but it is messy. Hope you like them and thanks for stopping by.
