Anniversary Flower

I had some time yesterday to work on cards so I made a dozen of them. I needed Anniversary cards for my Card Ministry group so I decided to try something new and not do any stamping and it worked out well.
I picked out two paper pads from Basic Grey Marjolaine and Curio to work with. I first cut out my bases and then went back to the scraps and used them for embellishments. This was a lot of fun.
For this card I used the Marjolaine pad and the only extra paper was one of the solids in the pack. After I had the strip across the center I pulled out my flower drawer and rummaged through it and found this flower I had made a long time ago and never used and it matched the yellow in the DP's. Is this what they call serendipity or is it just blind luck? Well anyway, I had a card that combined my two favorite things, easy peasy and using existing supplies....nothing new here. I'll be showing some of the other cards I made over the next few days.
Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by.

Gorgeous card; great idea; clever use of supplies we already have 'hanging around'!!!
