A friend of my husband's lost is Step-Mom this past week. She had lived a long full life so it's not really a sad parting, but it is still hard to lose another connection to your past.
I had give Dave a set of cards a few years ago as a gift and he told me much later that he appreciated them but they were a tad to feminine for him.
For this sympathy card I tried to keep it as masculine as I could, the DP is DCVW Linen Closet (I thought the tweed look worked here) and the image is from Papertrey's Through the trees.
I so want to get away from sympathy cards for awhile, I intend to get back after Christmas and work on anything but. Thanks for stopping by.
