A Clean and Simple Card

Always easy, always beautiful and always lots of inspiration. I've been watching this site for awhile now and I finally decided to jump in and post my card.

I chose this image and sentiment from PaperTrey's On My Couch set. I colored with Copics and used my blender to give it a distressed leather/faux suede look. You decide.

I cut it out using Nestabilities and then mounted it on a scrap of fuzzy textured paper. The sentiment is stamped on some handmade paper and mounted onto a kraft card base. Very organic. I think this might end up being my nephew's Fathers Day card. He's about to become a Dad for the first time and life as he knows it is about to end. Hehe.
